Yoga

What is Yoga? In essence, it is a spiritual path. In our increasingly hectic world many people seek out time to practice Yoga to bring their stress levels down and some peace to their lives. Yoga is one of the most ancient Indian systems of philosophy: if the body, mind and spirit are balanced, one's life gains greater focus, clarity and peace.

In the West, the most widely taught form of yoga is Hatha Yoga, one of the most ancient and classic forms of Yoga. It offers students clarity of mind, exercises to stretch, strengthen and flex the body, develop breath awareness, relaxation and meditation. Hatha means balance, Ha - stands for the moon energy, Tha - stands for the sun. Respectively they represent the male and female energies. This is the form of Yoga that we offer as a disciple of the Sivananda Lineage.

We run beginner and intermediate level classes, and can do 1-2-1 or small groups of up to 4 people, meaning you get focussed attention from our teachers. If you would like to join our yoga class, then click here.
