Lucja
Yoga Teacher, Personal Trainer, Rehabiliation Therapist and Sports Massage Therapist
Physical activity and training have always been a big part of my life. I started taking dance classes at the age of 7 and continued the rigorous ballet training until my teens. It was a natural progression for me to qualify as fitness instructor in 1997 and I kept developing in areas of training, yoga, massage and meditation.
It was while studying for my degree in London however, when I began to truly appreciate the potential of therapeutic exercise and manual body work. Over time I learned to combine the evidence based practice of the west with ancient philosophies of the east. My holistic approach is to assess and treat clients as whole beings, including mind, body, nutrition, and environment.
I believe that there is harmony and balance in every body and I choose to help others empower their best attributes and ultimate health. I am a very technical coach with sharp eye for detail and alignment. I encourage intuition and mind-body awareness. I specialise in corrective exercise, postural education, and post-injury rehabilitation. I continue to learn through specialist workshops, courses and lectures.
