Laura
Yoga Teacher
Having worked as a corporate
lawyer in the City I am particularly aware of the environment and pressures of
office life. Yoga is a practice and a journey; mine began in 2004. Since then,
what started as a hobby and turned into a passion has now become a necessity;
for yoga tangibly helps me to be the person that I want to be and to live the
sort of life that I want to live.
By working with ‘the mind, the
body and the spirit’ yoga practice is an extremely effective way of achieving
optimum overall health, and I have an equal interest in all 3 aspects. Thus I
have not only done a certified ‘Vinyasa Flow’ yoga teacher training
course but extensive meditation (predominantly Buddhist ‘Vipassana’ or Insight meditation) and a
variety of energy/spirit healing courses both in England and overseas.
The benefit of a private yoga
lesson is that we can listen to your body and decide what is best for you that
day. Depending on what you are hoping to achieve from your yoga, and whether
you have any existing injuries or health problems, I will tailor my teaching
accordingly. We can work together with your individual, unique body to achieve
your own personal goals. The class can be slow and gentle or a proper cardio
work-out, depending on how you are feeling.
Once you make yoga a regular practice your
overall quality of life improves – it is as a simple as that! I very much look
forward to sharing the benefits of yoga with you.
